Default Water on Passenger Side...

Ok so I know that this is a big flaw in many Audis and VWs. The Drains get clogged and water begins to run into the car, fills up passenger side floor, destroys the TCU and costs a shitload to fix. Well I bought a 2000 A6 4.2, which looked like it was sitting in this girls yard for a year, the interior was COMPLETLY GREEN(mold) with about 4 inches of ice on the passenger side. I was like holy **** this girls needs to be slapped for doing something like this to a car of this caliber. So I gave her an offer, and she gave the car up for a VERY VERY good price. I drove the car back to my place, the thing wouldn't shift so I knew the TCU was done. I put like 4 construction heaters on the outside, vacuumed all the water out, cleaned all the mold of the leather, bought a TCU, cleared all the water drains (near battery and sunroof) and it runs perfect.

The other day it rains again and the rug gets slightly wet. I don't know what to do because all the drains are clear,so Itook out the TCU and just hosed water in to see where it was coming from. From what I came up with is that the plastic part that is supposed to clip in right under the windshield does not want to stay in it's place, so the water runs right in the crackand into the pollen filter on the right side instead of running off to the side and eventually into the drains under the batter.

I don't know how to seal it,I was thinking to put silicone into the clip and just press the plastic part in so it stays in its place and the water wouldn't get in.

Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions?
