just doing the teardown after thermo failure and trying to figure out what had been done by the previous owner. (relative lost all records during move)
bought all the BS including rollers and waterpump. The pump is black hard plastic fins but looks and spins perfect and the timing belt seems thicker than the one I'm putting in. Guessing the origional parts were pretty high quality?
New pump has the metal fins and comes with a new gasket. What's recomended for
gasket sealer? Use both the cork (well whatever they are made of now) and some sealer or just the cork?
