Default this is a weird question i know

ok so i havea 99 a6 and i drove a few newer a6's like 03 04 years and i notcied the blinkers were a smidge faster than mine in my 99 .i know the lights werent burnt out or anything.. im not that dumb..but they were just a little faster and i was wondering if i replaced the hazzard relay from a 04 a6 into my 99 if my directionals will blink as fast? i know how to do it n all but i was wondering if that would effect the sleed at all...

You're probably just low on blinker fluid.

I doubt that replacing the relay will have any impact. The relay is probably triggered by the ECU or another control module so that would be what would have to be swapped. The odds of the connectors and wiring being the same is probably slim

If anyone ever asks you why your blinker is slower you can always use the"low on blinker fluid" theory...

Cheers
