It looked like a thermometer with some waves at the bottom. Is this my coolant light? I popped the hood and saw that the pink antifreeze was an inch and a hal below the "minimum" line. Do i need to get this checked immediately?

 

you can top it off with distilled water
or order some G12 coolant to top it off
(order online or get some from your nearest audi/vw dealer)

*that's what the light was for, indicating low coolant.

 

is there any special way i need to put it in(mixing)? I had planned on waiting till i got to 65k and order the TB kit that had the g12 in it but i guess i need to do something before the TB job. Whats the cheapest site?\
distilled water is really ok?

 

I usually mix 50/50 (G12/DW)

 

Is your coolant tank cracked and leaking?
