Do I have the BOSCH OR HITATCHI? How do I find out?

1998 AUDI A6 2.8 QUATTRO.

def bosch, our cars run off of bosch motronic systems, only way to be 100% sure on the part# is to pull the ECU

Brand is stamped on ECU itself. It takes 15 minutes to take it out.

vag-com will also give you the ECU Model #
