I am looking a picking up a new 2010 RNS-E navigation unit and will be putting it in a 2001 Audi A6 with symphony 1 stereo.

Is this a different install then the older RNS-E units?

I will down the road want to have bluetooth and I need some type of cd player/changer.

This is what I think I need, am I correct?:

-2010 rns-e unit
-Fakra Symph 1 to rns-e gps antenna connector harness
-The plug/play interface harness / Quadlock Connector to RNS-E with bose and telephone options. So I can later hook up blutooth?
-MSFW control unit?

I am really confused at what I will actually need for this install for it to work correctly.

Is the new 2010 RNS-S or even the older ones junky??

This is one of the few cars I have had WITHOUT nav and I would like it. I drive alot...
