What to offer?
Am thinking about buying a 2001 Audi A6 2.8 no quattro, 78K miles, but not quite sure what to offer. Car has a oil leak in the cam shaft that the dealer is willing to repair at a mechanic that I trust (he does all the work on my current car), dealer isalso going to replace the water pump and timing belt at the same time on themechanic's recommenation. Service history says the car had the oxygen sensor replaced at about 50K. Car runs nicely, tires have some good tread life left on them, and the body is in very good shape, seems to have a new windshield as well. Carfax doesn't show any accidents, nor did the service history from about 36K onward.
