i have a 98 a6 with the bose concert system. it has the 2 small subwoofers in the trunk compartment,

i heard there was an amp in the car. i cant find it!, is it behind those subwoofers?

can i hook up a new subwoofer to that amp even if its not pushing the new sub even close to its max watts.

I think it is situated in the boot/trunk on the right hand side behind the panel inside the plastic box, dont think it would be powerful enough to run a decent sub though. You're better off getting a aftermarket amp.
