Default Window Parts?

My front passenger side window has been having problems going up and down. I have determined the issue and I need to replace one of the plastic clips which grips the glass and slides in the vertical channels. I have a 2000 A6 Quattro.

Can anyone tell me what that part is called? And even better where I might find one cheap?

Thanks!

Default Thanks!

I checked it out, that link, but it's not quite the right part. Mine looks very different than this one.

2000 Audi A6 Quattro 4.2L V8.

Thanks again!

It says it's supposed to fit, can you take a picture of the piece?

Default Pics to come

I have an idea for a quick fix so my window will work. I think it might be a good fix for a while really... so, this weekend when I have it all apart I'll take pics and post them. Maye there's a mold or part number on the clips themselves... hmm.

Just get them from the dealer, here is the part # Cost: Approx $15.00, 1/2 hr work.*
Part no.: 4B0-837-463-B

The ones you buy will not look exactly the same as the ones that are in there now. That is because they are newer/"better".

The ones ryuuoh linked you to are the correct ones.

Default Problem solved!

ryuuoh, thanks! It seems like it's correct. I took my door apart at lunch today and made my quick fix. The new parts are orderd.

Now if only I could find a procedure for fixing the message center display behind the wheel... it's all scrambled up. Faulty soldering?

Thanks again!
