Window problem
Tonight i was driving home and my buddy was sitting in the back and he opened the window and couldnt close it anymore...so i used my controls and when i tried to put the window up it went down lol....it seems to be confused...it comes half way up and stops...after messing with it for a few minutes i got it back up and now i wont even use it until i find out whats wrong with it....any ideas ??

guys i am also having the same problem with my drivers window. any help for us would be great. someone told me to spray silicone on the seals as well as the tracks in the doors. before i remove a couple screws and pop the panel off... is that a good idea? thanks

This is a pretty common problem. A search on this would have revealed MANY discussions of this problem. I've written up answers to it a couple of times over the last month alone. Here's the scoop...
The window mechanism has built in pinch sensors. IF the windows detect resistance, they stop, and then back down. The window guides are prone to wearing out. When this happens, the increased friction is detected as a pinch and you see the exact behavior you're witnessing. There is a tech article on the www.audiworld.com web site that describes the problem and how to DIY fix it (including part numbers).
