I just called Carousel Automotive in Minnesota and they told me it would be $390 to have them put new plastic window clips in one door...YIKES!!! I have never tried to fix anything on a car before, how difficult is it to fix them? If I follow the directions that V6A630v posted is it pretty easy to do? How difficult on a scale of 1 to 10? I'm trying to figure out if I can do it myself. Does anyone know how much they cost, where is the best place to purchase them?

 

Im goning to do mine, best thing to do is take the card off and have look, just take ye time..

 

Hmm, can anybody, who ill replaced that plastic thing, make some pictures, how to do it on A6 ?

I paid $14.00 dollars, and plan to do the labor myself. I just did this on our BMW and it took around 3 hours. I will be doing mine soon, maybe next week, will take pictures for ya.

It's not a bad job. Just take your time, and make sure you mark the bolt and shim locations prior to removing the window frame.

 

Looks like I don't have to take any pictures now.
