I have a 1999 Audi A6, strange thing happening. The computer shows the passenger door and rear doors as being open. The driver door shows closed. Because of this I can not open the windows or lock the doors. Must use remote to lock the doors. Any suggestions? Anybody experience this issue or something similiar.

 

Did it rain recently? Maybe your central convenience. computer got wet (under drivers seat under the carpet)

Did all three doors ajar warnings happen at once, or did is start with one and work its way up to 3 over some period of time?

It could be one of many things, if it all happened at once it could be a wet computer or bad drivers door latch, maybe other things.

If it happened slowly then more possibilities exist. Such as bad door latch's, bad driver/passenger seat foot well light, bad computer.

Do you have access to a vag-com?
