Windshield Wipers.. I know..

Pull back on the cover (away from the arm) and lift the arm off the blade. Dead simple. Make sure to put a small amount of lube on the bar at the end of the arm that nests into the blade. This bar needs to swivel and if it doesn't the blade lifts from the windshield leaving a nice wide streak right in front of your eyes.

You guys would laugh but... I replaced mine with Pylon blades (same company that manufactures the Michelin ones sold here...LOL) bought at Walmart... I know, I know....I'm feeding the corporate pig...
They were like $ 4/piece and I said to give it a try (I typically use Michelin, but then I saw the manufacturer on them; and they do have the same design as Pylon...).
Needless to say that the "try" became permanent replacement as they're excellent.
I'll let you all buy the $ 30-40 Icons and Aeros.

Missing Spots
Hey All - A little diviation on the topic (let me know if I should just post new).
I have a '02 A6 with factory blades (new from dealer) and the right blade misses the middle section of the wipe as if there isn't enough pressure to keep it against the glass. I thought my old blade was bad (hence I bought new ones) but it has the exact same problem.
Anybody know how to increase pressure on the blade to get it to wipe?
Thanks!
