Usually foamy yellow stuff in oil is moisture. You may have possible head gasket failure where water is mixing with oil.

Is it 1.yellowish or 2.creamy (yellow-white)?

In the case of

1=> Castrol Syntec (5-50) could be the culprit.

2.=> Crankcase ventilation is not properly functioning.

drain your oil and see what color it is... if that looks fine its most likely just condensation on the cap

Most likely its not a problem, if you make short trips a lot condensation always builds up on the oil cap and dip stick. Its usually normal in cold climates. If when you drain the oil and you can visually see yellow in the drain pan then you might have a problem, but a little is ok.
