Yet another p0411 questions...sorry!
1998 Audi A6 Quattro 2.8L here...
Getting the p0411 Code: Secondary Air System Incorrect Flow detected from my VAGCOM
From what I understand there's 4 things that could be wrong...
1) Vacuum hoses
2) 1 of the 2 Combination/EGR Valves
3) Secondary Air Solenoid valve
4) The Secondary air pump itself
Check off 1, i've changed and checked all the vacuum hoses.
As far as the pump itself, it works. It goes on at startup, air flow is strong, but it turns off after about 30 seconds. Should it be going longer? Temperature is about 20 degrees Farenheit at the moment so its definetely a cold start.
Some more observations to help diagnose...the car engine does not warm up according to the gauge until at LEAST 20 or 30 miles. Heat is almost non-existant as far as the climate control. Im thinking this is related?
As far as the Combi/EGR valve and solenoid, I have not checked those yet.
I just want to get this code off. Thanks to anyone who has any suggestions!
