My 2012 A7 is finally in! Does anyone have suggestions for a good radar detector that will be as discreet as possible and work well? My 2006 A6 that I'll be selling has a Valentine1 (is about 8 years old) with Stealth hardwired in (behind steering wheel on column), and I've liked that even though it's on my passenger window visor it was blacked out and not visible from behind. Hoping someone knows what will work with the A7 system with so much led.
Your thoughts and help will be greatly appreciated!!

I use a hardwired Valentine mounted high up on the passenger side of the rear review mirror, and have always found that brand the best for my prior BMW 7 & 6 series.

 

Used a Direct Wire Cord from Amazon: 79-001059-01

One lesson learned, don't use the Sunroof 20 amp plug. it doesn't cut the power to it when the car is powered off.

Had a little trouble with hiding the wire, Audi builds these cars tight... Here are the photos:
