Engine Mounts & Bushings Question
Hi everyone, 1st post here. I picked up a used A7, car has 80k mi and was extremely well cared for, excellent condition and loaded, Prestige, Sport Package, 20" wheels, etc. . One owner, woman, gave me all the maintenance records. All was done on schedule by a Audi dealer. Looking at the latest receipt it has 3 write ups that the owner declined, they are:
1. Engine Mounts Collapsed and Leaking. What I find strange is that I found a receipt dated 6/2016, so about 3 years ago, car had 50k mi on it. So in 30k miles it needs another set of engine mounts? Is this normal? In addition, price quoted from the dealer is $1865....really? I can't imagine 1. needing them and 2. it costing that kind of money.
2. Front Upper Guide Link Bushings Torn. Cost $745. Required?
3. Front Lower Control Arm Bushings Torn. Cost $1540
Quotes are from Audi North Scottsdale.
Thoughts? Recommendations? Find an independent? What should these repairs cost from one if needed?
