I'm concidering a 06 A8 when the lease on my 03 745il is up.
One of the many peeves with the beemer is with the audio system. The I-drive is impossible, and there is no way to intigrate an Ipod into the audio system without going thru the AM radio (kinda defeats the purpose)
In 2003 there was a kit available from Blitzsafe to connect an Ipod directly into the A8 audio system. I also believe Phatnoise made a similar kit. It was nice because you got true digital sound, and could use the steering wheel controls to work the Ipod.
I have had no luck trying to find out if there is anything available from Audi for the 2006 A8. Also, no info from Blitzsafe or Phatnoise. Any help would be appreciated!!

.I suppose if you go into detail you could as the A8 has a second cd changer input. If you could find an adapter you may be able to feed the I-pod over the second CD changer input.
