Hi guys UK calling..

My 1997 Audi A8 4.2 quattro has a knackered alternator my question is this: I'm told there are two 120amp and 150amp types is there any way to tell without getting under the engine to see? are they the same physical size ? I havethe chance ofa 120 amp unit any one have any knowledge of these.
