Default A8 D3 dshboard warning lights

My A8 just had the cambelt service . I have been having problems with the battery management before the cambelt service. Since the car was with the garage they send the battery control module for repair and now the car can start ok but they said most of the warning lights on the dash are lit up and they cannot reset them using the vcd. They did drove the car for a while but the lights are still on. They have no idea how to fix that apart from sending the car to the dealer. So what is the problem as I don't understand how it happen. Please advice. Many thanks

Ask them to scan the car and then post the scan here. Someone then might be able to tell you what to do.

The car is now with the dealer and they are too busy to start looking at my car. I did asked for a scan result from the specialist but they don't reply to my request. I wonder how come if the battery control unit been removed for a few days it can make all the warning lights in the dashboard on permanently. Also I've been told that the mmi has no display. Anyone has any experience on these issues what have they done to my car as I have no problems before they took the battery unit out

I've been to check my car today all the warning lights are off. The MMI display is working(there was no display before) but the adaptive air suspension menu is missing. The Audi dealer has no idea what's wrong with it and their diagnostic software shows no fault. They have to ask for help from the factory in Germany, Any advice is much appreciated

My advice is don't let the dealer keep it too long or just start swapping parts.
This is going to get REAL expensive real fast.

As Lazydog said, post a scan here as soon as you can.

Great news schiu!
Glad it wasn't expensive, and yep I figured they would need to SVM something.

i just picked up a 2005 a8l, and the check engine light and a triangle with a circle around it and the parking brake warning just started flashing.

when I scan the car with my obd2, no codes are thrown, and when I reset it, they all go away.

anyone have any ideas about this?
