Today, I sold my 2005 A6 4.2L. Ten minutes later I start the 2006 A8L (4.2L) and notice the air suspension light stayed on. What, is this karma or something? So, went to the Suspension settings, and it was set on the Dynamic mode. OK. Shut the motor off, started it again, and set the suspension to Automatic. It went about 1/2 mile, and then the light came on and it had defaulted to "Dynamic". OK. Then shut 'er off again. Set it to "Standard" and went on my merry way. About a mile later, the light comes on, and yep, you got it, it had again defaulted to "Dynamic". Does anyone know what has failed here? What needs replacing? Or, is God just mad at me? Is the compressor bad? I don't really mind the ride in Dynamic, but holistically, there is something wrong here, and I should make it right. Just. Not. Sure. Thanks in advance.
