Hey guys, im having a problem with my 2004 audi a8l. Soon as i put the key and try to turn it on the steering weel doesn t get realesed and the car won t start after i try to turn it on couple of time even the milage lights go off and key fob won t work , the battery is good though. Sometimes when i disconnect the battery and connect it back the engine starts but on the mini screen it shows me a red warning picture of a key hole and key ... anybody has an idea what could be the problem?

 

This almost sounds like an alarm or key fob security fault issue. You may have to contact the dealer to get this sorted out. The key fob may need to be re-associated with the ECU.

 

Thank you for your response. Since i found out that warning light means ignition foult i took it off and will replace it. Hopefully that solves the problem.
