First let me say that this Forum is AWESOME! I have found so much information about my 2000 A8L that I can not believe it; but the one thing that I have not found is how or even if this model is equiped with Auto door locks. When I say "Auto" I am referring to the car locking the doors when the vehicle is placed in gear or after a certain mph is reached ( like with my Acura, BWM and Mercedes), or unlock when the car is placed in Park.

 

Take a look on audiworld, all audi's can do that, you just have to find the correct coding for the central locking module. Once you find the correct code you need a VAG COM to code the control unit.
