Default Auto door locks

I helped someone with a dead battery by giving them a boost. Closed the hood, locked the car with the remote key and went in to market. When I returned the remote would not work. So I popped the hood and noticed the ground cable on the battery had popped off. I reattached it but now the remote key doesn't work to open or close the doors.

I checked the key FOB battery and sender and it is sending a signal. Is there a way to reprogram the FOB to the receiver on the car?

Thx

Smile instructions

switch ignition ON. use key not fitted with remote transmitter. manually lock drivers door using key.
.complete the following within 30 sec.
.within 5 sec press unlock button on first key once(programs memory position 1).
.indicator lamps flash once to indicate signal received.
.wait 5 sec
.press unlock button once to confirm programing.
.vehicle unlocks.programing mode deactivated.
.switch ignition off. remove key
.to program remaining keys into memory position 2,3,4 carry out the complete procedure below for each key:
switch ignition ON. use key not fitted with remote transmitter. manually lock drivers door using key

NOTE:EXISTING KEY MEMORY POSITION WILL BE OVERWRITTEN.
NOTE: ITS BEST TO DO THIS WITH A FRIEND ALLOT EASIER. ONE OF YOU SIT INSIDE WHILE THE OTHER IS OUT SIDE LOCKING THE DOOR AND THE PERSON ON THE INSIDE USE THE FOB. THAT WORKED BEST FOR ME. I GOT THESE INSTRUCTIONS FROM A LOCK SMITH FRIEND
it should take you less than a minute to do all you fobs. you must do them all over again.
good luck
