I am a noobie looking at a used 2003 Audi S8. How big of a problem are these transmissions? Any idea on how long they will last? The one I am looking at has 80k miles on it, and I don't believe it has had the transmission fluid changed. If the car, other than the lack of a fluid swap, is mint; any recommendations? Thanks

 

My 2002 S8 has 120,000 miles. I changed the transmission fluid about 30,000 miles ago, but I am having an issue with it now that I am trying to diagnose. I posted it the problem a couple of days ago here and am waiting on someone smarter than me on the subject to shed some light.
