Simple, I just did it yesterday (it wasn't my problem though). Just flip out the key and pull the case apart with your fingers, pop the battery out by applying pressure to the top of the disc (battery) itself.
Great advice. My only follow-up point is that, once you replace the battery, the FOB will not work until after you start the car with the key. For some reason that activates it again.
