Has anyone used anything else other than the Audi fluid? I've used BG in my others cars before and was seing if anyone used it in their A8. Thanks

without these I'm just guessing you have the 4.2 and tiptronic trans.

anywho the recommended fluid, from the transmission manufacturer is ZF LifeGuard 6. I'm sure you can find a similar/compatible/cheaper fluid by comparing the specs. I started to do it for you but got bored. sorry

 

06 D3 4.2....its not a matter of cheaper I just wanted to know if anyone has used the BG fluids which have been pretty good when used them in other make n models....
