Default determing correct rotors / pads

I need to replace front brakes on 2000 A8L, date of mfg is July, 2000. Asking Audi dealer to research from my VIN results in "doesn't have time", "make an appointment for service, blah blah" There are no numbers whatsoever on the rotor hub. (assume PO replaced them). Research tells me there are apparently 3 different rotor / pad set up. Looking at Blauparts, there are three choices:

option 1- 312mm with 4 pad system
option 2 - 323mm with 8 pad system
option 3 - 345mm with 4 pad system

I understand the 8 pad system is Akibono (spelling?) Since only one option offered by Blauparts is for the 8 pad and mine has the 8 pad system does that mean option 2 is correct? Is it possible to have either other rotor with the 8 pad?

Yes, I understand I could measure them but it's cold outside today, (I'm a wuss) and I'd like to order them tomorrow.

Pictures are attached but I don't know if that helps. Maybe pics will reveal something to others.

Looks like you have option # 2. I can not tell for sure with the picks but it looks like you have 2 pads on each side of the brake rotor which would be the 8 pad set.

Check the PR codes on the wheel well sticker, these have the codes for front and rear brakes which you can match with those in the catalogues of various makes.

just dont go cheap, if you get them at rockauto.com, they will warp quick. i get them at audi dealer, i know, i rarely say that ... but its true. they sell very good brake rotors, and there is a ton of cheap parts out there.
