I have followed this poster on several Audi related forums and have asked questions on eBay. If this works, it would be great! There appears to be similar items for the Mercedes. However, despite several requests, I can not get anyinformation regarding manufacturer, model number, etc. Has anyone actually bought this product? Anyone know what it is?

 

Has anyone ever tried modifiing the Mecedes razr cradle to work in the audi?

 

Well, I have purchased whatwould appear to be this gadget: it is a Bluetooth adapter made by Motorola specifically for BMWwhich apparently has the same system. The gadget I have purchased (which I bought used, not from COOP330) works like a charm! My phone is the Treo 700W and it interfaces well. The steering wheel buttons work and the audio interface in the car for voice command also works. There is no MMI interface and you can not upload your contacts or phone book. I don't know if this is the same unitthat the original poster isselling because he has so far refused to say.
BTW, it apparently also requires the cradleto be replaced as well.
