I am having the same problem you described and not sure i fully understand where the pin you are referring to is located are you able to post a picture of the particular pin you had to get in the high position?

Malfunction is not due to a pin... it is due to a miscalibration of the lock mounted on the low boot (not that one on the mobile cover).
