I have a 2004 with 40000 miles on it and the flex on the exhaust cracked. Sounds really like a rs 4 but it needs to be repaired . The CPO warrety does not cover it and the dealer quoted me 2800 $ for the two sides .Does any one have any options that does not require changing the downpipe with cats. thx

 

I had the driver side flex-pipe replaced today at a local muffler shop, $225.00 including tax took the less then an hour. I have a 2004 with 100+k.
