I have read through the owners manual and searched here, how does the front license plate filler come off?

 

Mine just popped off. Wiggled a screwdriver in behind it, and gently pried it off. Hadda use double-faced tape to get it back on, though, and now it looks like krap.

 

Damn, that sucks. I'm planning to construct a device which is essentially a euro-spec frame that fits a US-spec niche. The device will, technical jargon aside, be a euro-frame with a part of a US-spec frame glued behind it. The goal - being able to display a european plate in the front without having to purchase and paint an actual euro-niche for the front bumper. Oh, and........ ::burp:: patent on everything I just said above
