Hello, Hope someone can help!

This error code has started to appear on my UK spec 2001 3.7 A8:

17549/P1141/004417 - Load Calculation Cross Check: Implausible Value.

I understand most probable causes are Mass Airflow meter (G70) or Intake manifold pressure sender (G71). After changing the Mass Airflow meter the code is still there.

1/ What Engine Measurement blocks do I need to look at with my VAG.COM software to see the Intake manifold pressure sender?

2/ Where is the Intake manifold pressure sender (G71) located? (Hope it’s not inside ECU)

Are you sure your vehicle has one? Itd be uncommon for a vehicle to have both a maf and a manifold pressure sensor. Check your throttle position sensor to make sure its reading correctly.

 

Thanks for advise, I’ve just carried out the throttle valve adaptation and fault code has gone for now. Reading the workshop manual I should have done this after the main battery had low volts. Cheers.
