I just bought a 2007 A8 new from the dealer. It has the ipod interface option but I cannot find the cable with my manuals or anything. Is the cable supposed to come with the car or do I have to buy it seperately?

 

I believe you get the interface but you either need to use the cable that comes with your ipod or you can buy the accessory kit from the parts department.

 

I just got a 2008 A8 this week and no cable as well. Apparently its a different cable from 2007. Make sure they get the right one. It's supposed to come with the car.

The cable is different for ipods and other mp3 players. Make sure you get the right one.

 

Just bought a new A8 and found out that Audi does not have trunk liner for it. Most companies I looked for on the internet seem to have them for the A8L, but not the A8/S8.

Does anyone know of a decent source for this? Either a rubberized liner or a carpet liner. I could live with either.
