Default RE: lowering

Hello Lenny,
All I can say is welcome to the club! I too have a 1997 2.8 sport and from what I can see of your car you probably want to lower the front more than the rear like me, Am I right?

The sports sits 20mm lower than the standard A8 and I too have been trying to find out whther some of the sring kits out there are for the standard or sports model (pointless if they are for standard as you'll only get a 5mm drop from most of these kits). I am asking a few manufacturers right now as it goes if there kits are made for the sports A8's or not. Failing that its coilovers which will give you a bugger drop; cheapest are FK at around £500 but I struggle to justify that sort of cost. Let me know if you have better luck than me on this one.

BTW where are you based, UK?
