How is it not working? Showing low tire pressures always?

To me it sounds like the batteries are dead in the tps's. My A8 was having similar problems and the dealer replaced one or two of them and the others needed batteries I'm pretty sure. If it already doesn't work, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try the MMI Update. Is the car under any kind of warranty?

Did you have the tires changed recently? Did they even put the tire pressure sensors back in the wheels?
What happens when you try to store the tire pressures?

Default No new tires

No new tires. I plan to put new tires on at the end of the month. When I turn on the TPMS and select store pressures it says "tire pressures stored" but when I go to the display there are just lines and no pressures and the Dash indicator has a yellow tire half flat displayed. Tire pressures are 38lbs when I check them manually.

After storing the pressures it usually takes close to 30 straight minutes of driving for it to see the pressures. Next time you store it make sure its on a long drive.

Default Navteq and MMI

On navteq's website the version 9 nav dvd is available for $199. Is this the disc I need to buy? If I purchase that dvd I assume I should upgrade my MMI sw3-HU 6346 01.50 0316. The dealer seemed reluctant because of this BS about the TPMS not working with the upgrade. Can I get the disc myself and do the upgrade without screwing my car up? Since I have a 2004 A8 what version would I want to update with?

Like fenderltd said, updating the MMI won't affect the tire pressure monitoring system, and getting the newest nav disc is always a good idea.
