Default New brakes, low pad warning light still on

I just installed new breaks this week (ebc redstuff pads with sensor) Anyone have this happen? Any common things to check? I double checked the connections to the sensors and the cleaned everything when I was installing the pads and rotors.

I don't have an A8, but I'm wondering whether you have to use VagCom to reset the light. I know on my A4 I have to use it to reset the Airbag fault light as well as the ABS warning light. The brake pad warning may be the same.
