Hey all -

I just joined, and am looking forward to hanging around. I currently drive a 01 BMW 740, which I will be getting rid of, in the next 6 months. I have been back and forth about what car to go to next,(used) an LS460, or Merc s500, even a used Phaeton, but I settled on looking into an 05-07 A8.

So, I thought it would be good to learn as much as I can, so I can be prepared when buying time comes, and i can get to know the ins and outs. I love the look of the A8, and appreciate them tremendously, but besides the basic knowledge, I am not that knowledgeable on them.

So I am here to learn

Thanks!!

Can't go wrong with an A8, much better choice than a 7 series, especially in the snowy country.

Thanks, 79

The AWD is definitley a plus, I guess , as in all "these" cars, the reliability/repair is a factor, and i am sure that is a tune well played out here, especially from new people.

But I love the looks, love the size, and hope to track down a good deal in the next months. Now, it's onward to reading all past threads.
