I just bought a brand new key for my 07 A8 and the dealer wanted $100 to program it. Is there a way I can do it myself?

Not on that car no. You are gonna have to pony up the dough unless you buy a vag com www.ross-tech.com, which is a software program that lets you diagnose the entire cars systems. Pretty sweet and necessary tools for the DIY'ers. I would just have the dealer do it though.
