I have a 2006 A8L with about 7500mi on it. There seems to be several rattles/vibrations in the car, which I am wondering if is normal. The car has spent 2 weeks in the shop, and they are yet to find/fix the worst rattle which is in the passenger side A-pillar. The car tightens up at temps in the upper 80s. This is my first Audi, and I am wondering if these are normal issues, or not. The car drives like a dream, I just have to crank the radio so I don't hear the noises.

 

S***, you spent all that money not have any rattles, no rattles are normal in an A8L. Come to think of it i don't think i've ever heard a rattle in any A8L i have ever driven.

 

well, i have the same issue. Noise annoys a lotwhile driving a luxury sedan.

and,I found the source of noise is from the globe box.

to confirm, open the globe box and shake it up and down.

ifyou findsome looseonthe right or left side, that is it.
