Problems getting hood open... Any ideas?

Default Problems getting hood open... Any ideas?
I am having a problem getting the hood open on my A8, any ideas? I pull the latch under the steering, the little tab comes out of the front grille, but doesnt do anything when I pull it..

Try banging your fist on the hood while someone else pulls on the hood cable. If it comes loose the cable is either stretched or the striker is misadjusted.
