S8 or A8L W12

I was wondering what big diffrence isbetween the S8 and the A8L W12, and if one car is better then the other.Also what is the diffrence between a normal A8 and an S8 besides the engine.And finally, is it worth buying an S8 or A8L W12 over just a normal A8.
