Default Tranny issue

So I've done some extensive searching and I have a symptom I haven't seen anyone post on. When comming to a stop it seams almost as if the tq converter disengauges and the dash reads in call gears ie. PRN12345 all highlighted. At this point the car will barely move. If I park the car, turn off the engine and start it again the problem is solved. It's only happend to me tiwce, but not in too many miles. I plan on doing a tranny flush, fluid and filter change as soon as the weather is respectable, but I wanted to see if anyone has had or has seen this problem before. Thanks

If all the lights come on the gear indicator panel then the car is going into "limp" mode. This problem happened to me on my 91 V8. Exactly like you. Coming to a stop. Cured by turning off and restarting the car. It ended up being one of the transmission sensor switches (inside the valve body on my car). Never happened again after that.

Thanks so much! Can you find out what sensor for me? I do all my own work, so I'd love to just source the part and replace it.
