Trunk lid driver unit...need help
My automatic trunk lid drive is malfuctioning. At times it opens and most of the times it does not open the trunk completely and need a little push. I was told that the driver ynit assembly need to be replaced. Appart form the very high price of that driver unit (up to $450) however I was wonderign if any body has done this job before? I located the driver unit in the car but it seemd to me that it might be not an easy DIY work?!
Does any body have any DIY pics from this kind of work or has done this before?
Thank you,
A.

Trunk lid struts replacement
Good morning,
I was wondering if any body knows how to replace those gas filled struts that assist lifting the trunk lid. I bought a pair online and wanted to try to do it myself. By just looking at them, it seems to be a little complicated.
Thank you so much,
A.
