Upper Control Arm Bushings

Upper Control Arm Bushings
Looking through the Bentley manual the front upper control arm can be removed in situ.
But to take the rear upper control arm you have to take out the mounting bracket which means having to take air spring damper out together?
My question is anyone done this before and is this only way? If so how long a job is this?

Easiest way to do this is to put the air suspension in jack mode, then disconnect the air line to the air spring and let it deflate. Once its deflated open the hood and take out the three bolts to the top of the strut tower, then just swing the whole assembly towards you without taking it out of the car, i just loosen the large nut on the bottom of the strut.
P.S. There is a little clip that holds the strut up to the body, you may need to either cut or pry that little bugger off.
