I am considering purchasing a 2008 Audi A8. Can anyone tell me if there are known problems I should be aware of? Thanks

The 2008 is a pretty solid car. It basically had all the improvements that continued until the D4 came out. If you haven't owned a D3 A8 it is in my opinion one of the best luxury sedans on the road when the cost is considered.

 

All A8's are truly great cars, but in particular the '08 is outstanding over previous models...the 2nd year of the incredible high compression 4.2 FSi engine (350hp) with no timing belt..internal chain instead. And the 1st year of MUCH better performing and more dependable updated air suspension.
