Urban Legend Debunked.. Solid Silver A8
Many of you have probably received this e-mail with a bunch of pictures of a GORGEOUS gleaming Late Model A8 with a bunch of Arabs standing around it. The e-mail reads something like "where our Petrol Dollars go". This web page debunks the myth and has a few pics of the Extraordinary car. I think its rather amusing that people are latching on to a Solid Siver Audi as a way to blame Arabs for the Gas prices and then they drive their ridiculously large Suburban or Land Cruser in Beltway traffic to work every day. People are MORONS!!

Electroplating silver isnt a new process, nor is it difficult. Anyone with some money can have this done to almost any type of metal. Its really not so shocking that some rich folks with poor taste would have this done. I see rich idiots all the time. Personally, I thought the parts were chromed, but whatever.
It is silly for people to complain about the way some rich arab spends his money, I will agree with you on that.
This is what I have to say to people who are econo concerned about fuel economy. I have a Suburban, and yes, it gets terrible gas mileage. But, where do you draw the line? Your car gets 30 mile to the gallon and someone elses gets 25, are they ridiculous? If you have a problem with poor gas mileage, you should have a problem with internal combustion engines, not the number of miles per gallon. Perhaps you should buy an electric car, and in 5 years, dump your old toxic batteries in the earths soil? If you think poor fuel economy is ridiculous, you are likely to be some econo hippie-hipocrate. In which case, you should practice what you preach and stop wasting the earths resources and pick up your bicycle. What? You work too far away to ride your bike? Aww...too bad. Keep a lid on it and try enjoying the fun of a small block screaming down the road while unspent fuel drips out the tailpipe. (Sorry, that subject gets me fired up
