Help - Sticking Q5 console switches
Passenger spilled coke on the console, and as a result some of the navigation and other switches are sticking and not always returning/releasing. Any suggestions on a fix?
Is there a safe, thin cleaner that would not harm the switches or plastic parts?
Can each switch be removed individually for cleaning or replacement?
All ideas would be appreciated.

Check with car detail shop see if they have anything to clean it. Some of switch probably can be remove individually and replace but not all of them. For those can't be remove individually, you may need to get entire switch unit to replace it.
I don't allow anyone (including myself) eat or drink in my car just for this reason.

You can get a small aerosol can of "electronics cleaner" at radio shack - the kind with the small red straw. I have done that to my car's buttons and it has fixed the problem. It flashes off really fast so does not need much cleanup.
