Default Any possible performance increase

I am new to the sight and my wife and I are to take delivery of our '11 Q7 3.0 supercharged S-Line in June/July timeframe. I am trying to find out if there is a the possibilty to reflash the ECU or send it off to have it recalibrated to increase performance? A few weeks ago I was reading through a few sites that basically said this and that it would net just over 400 hp, not sure of the bump in torque. This is up from the 333 hp that the S-Line comes from the factory with. The sites seemed to be German but in english. I have also seen you guys talking about APR(?) and Stasis as well.

I know that there are a number of very knowledgeable owners on this site and look forward to your assistance.

This is an English site, in English. Haha...

As for the performance bump, a tune will help, but being a brand new car (and relatively new engine) it's going to cost some serious money... APR and GIAC are the most well known names, but there are a few others out there. Check www.goapr.com to see if they have come up with a file for the 3.0T. There probably won't be one for the Q7, but the newer A6 have the same engine. It might not get you exactly where you want to be, but it's at least a start.

I have no problem letting the engine break in before doing any mods. Since ours is the 3.0 supercharged like the S4 not the turbo I am hoping that there is something out there. I was also thinking that the supercharger is a positive displacement super and might be able to do a pulley swap and ECU reflash. Not sure just thinking.

Thanks for all of your tips, I am always open for advice.

I have also order a 2012 Q7 Premium due to arrive early July, how could I bump the power to the S-line level ? is it just retuning the ECU ? thanks for any inputs
