Default just found this web site and would like to increase performance

I am new to this website but not to Audi's.

I have owned an A6 2.5TDI Tiptronic for the last 6 years. Its done 144,000 and still going strong, regularly serviced with only a battery change and a regas of the air con since owning it beseides the general service parts.

I have thought about selling it for a more performance orientated car but then wondered whether there was anything I could do to give the Audi a bit more performance.

I added a sort of piggyback chip when I first bought it but couldn't tell much difference but is there anything out there nowadays toi increase performance on a 2.5 diesel engine.

Would also consider suspension mods/wheels tyres. Any advice on what to do and where to look would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums!

What year is your A6?

Anyway, I can't really help you with performance mod since we don't get any Audi with TDI here in the States. However, with the 1.8T engine I have, an aftermarket chip got me around 30-40 HP and definitely I felt the gained of power. Again, I am not sure about the TDI and I don't think there are different grades/octanes of diesel but as for my aftermarket chip, I am able to switch programs from stock/91 octane/93 octane/100 racing octane.

What kind of suspension/wheel are you looking to get?
